Thank you very much for sharing the article. It's interesting. I think we all have noticed recently that "shall" and "ought" are disappearing. "get doing" is rather habitual nowadays but "got done" is strange enough, I think.
In my opinion the more curious process is "progressive" instead of "simple".
Anyway this article is very useful and such reseaches help us (here "to" is being out too :-) keep track of how the language is developing.
